The question behind Elim
There are many excellent schools in the world. So why must Elim exist? Is Elim needed for this age? As the founder of Elim, this is a question I have asked myself again and again.

I see a generation growing increasingly powerless. Excessive media and gaming, disrupted sleep cycles, weakened bodies and minds. Concentration has declined, and the ability to read deeply and express one's own thoughts clearly is disappearing. Spiritually, what is even more alarming is that this has become a generation that cannot meditate. Without meditation, faith cannot grow. For children saturated in self-centered culture, worshiping God enthroned has become deeply unfamiliar.

An age has come when thinking is no longer required. There is too much stimulation for deep thought, and living buried in a phone has become everyday life. AI has arrived, and students are tempted to surrender thinking itself. The brain loses what it does not use. Comfort steals the brain's capacities one by one. Surrender the ability to think, and that ability will eventually disappear. Spirituality, depth of thought, perseverance, patience, and character - the very things most needed in this age - are disappearing fastest.

Elim is a community formed to correct this. We pursue spirituality, character, and intellect together in our curriculum. By God's grace, the transformation in our students is the proof. Every morning, from elementary to high school, students meditate and share using Elim's QT manual. Alongside this, weekly memorization engraves the Word deeply in the heart. We care for physical and mental health, hold to fundamentals-first academics, and realign life rhythms through values education. Ultimately, parents must grow spiritually alongside their children for the children to grow. That is why parents participate together in QT meditation and the Spirit, Soul, Body campaign.
